GTA ALLSTARS
Photos of the GTA AllStars. The GTA AllStars play in the NFC (Northern Football Conference) a semi-pro American football league operating in Ontario, Canada.
Formed in 1954 as the Northern Ontario Rugby Football Union (NORFU), the NFC provides an opportunity for athletes to continue their football careers beyond the varsity level. The NFC is ideal for players electing not to go to university or having graduated from university wishing to continue the pursuit of football excellence. Many pro players have used the NFC as a valuable place to develop their skills.
The GTA AllStars, formerly known as the Toronto Titans are owned and managed by Didi Nwagbo. Photos posted date back to 2012 when the team was known as the Toronto Titans and was quarterbacked by former Queen's QB and two-time Hec Crighton Award winner Tommy Denison.
All photos are by Jeff Chan. Jeff is past Chairman of the Vanier Cup - Canada's University Football Championship and the Premier University Event in Canada, and was a member of the Canadian College Bowl Board and Vanier Cup Organizing Committee from 1978-2001. He is also the founder and current Chairman of the Canadian University Men's Rugby Championship.
