The Toronto Titans earned their first ever Northern Football Conference title with a convincing 52-0 shutout of the Ottawa Invaders. As he has done all season, Tom Denison led the Titans with 24 completions in 32 attempts for 404 yards and 4 majors as well as crossing the goal line once himself. Keston Nelson of the Titans was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Game and Sean Spencer of the Titans was named as the Defensive Player of the Game.
The Titans will now move on to face the Lloydminster Vandals, who earned their second Alberta title in three years over the Calgary Wolfpack, on September 22nd in Lloydminster for the Canadian Major Football League Championship.
