The varsity Wolverines took an early lead on a quarterback sneak by Alec Reid and never trailed, leading 17-9 at halftime. A defensive stand on the game's last series preserved the win.
Devon MacCallum scored two majors on runs of 28 and 46 yards. Reid aired a five-yard TD pass to Munashe Masawi. Warren Reed kicked four converts and a 33-yard field goal. “It was a great game,” said Wolverines manager Jerry Peters. “We had a great effort by our kids.”
