Sukhpreet Singh (Toronto) finished with 21 points in the Gaels (6-10) 85-77 loss to the Toronto Varsity Blues (11-5) and passed Mitch Leger's Queen's men's basketball all-time scoring record.
Leger's all-time record for points in a career by a Gael was 1,337 and Singh needed just 14 points to pass the mark. Now with a total of 1,345 in his five-year career as a Gael, the historic achievement is now his alone to push further in his final three games this season.
