WADSWORTH & JUDGES LEAD NO.8 GAELS OVER TORONTO 41-29

Andrea Wadsworth of Toronto and Melanie Judges of Ottawa scored two tries each as the No. 8 Gaels (4-1) beat the Toronto Varsity Blues (2-3) 41-29 in Thursday afternoon rugby action.
In a back and forth start to the game the Gaels managed to take a 17-12 lead going into halftime. From there on the Gaels took control and increased their lead to 12 points.
Wadsworth and Judges each had two tries while first year Jordyn Rowntree of Stouffville, Ont., Sarah Pathak of Toronto and Taylor White of Bancroft, Ont. all contributed one try on the day. Toronto native Danielle Underwood rounded out the scoring for the Gaels with three conversions for six points.
The Blues' Karla Telidetzki of Edmonton, Alta. had a pair of tries in a losing effort for Toronto.
Queen's will now wait on results from this weekend to determine their OUA playoffs quarter-final matchup. The OUA quarter-final's begin next week on October 15
